On November 25th, MINISO opened four new stores in Texas and two in Florida, doubling the global value retailer’s store count in these states.
The six new stores, all located in malls, added to the Thanksgiving spirit by providing fun, trendy destinations for families to enjoy. During the Thanksgiving weekend, the stores welcomed thousands of customers who came to discover the brand’s wide variety of design-led, affordable and adorable products, from plush toys to skincare products and everyday household items. The vast assortment of MINISO's licensed collections including We Bare Bears, Sanrio and more, also attracted fans to shop for their favorite characters in store.

At the grand opening of the Dolphin Mall store in Miami, Florida, shoppers and influencers gathered for the ribbon-cutting ceremony, celebrating MINISO's entry into the coastal metropolis. The store also hosted multiple raffle draws that attracted significant footfall. The Dolphin Mall store, as well as the Stonebriar Center store in Dallas, Texas, features MINISO’s iconic winking chair, an enlarged winking face taken from the brand’s logo, to reflect the brand’s philosophy of bringing pleasure and joy to shoppers. The winking chair has quickly become a popular photo spot in both stores, garnering numerous social media shares and interactions.

“It’s an honor to have opened six new stores over the Thanksgiving holiday, having the opportunity to share the holiday spirit with our customers,” said Bella Tu, General Manager of MINISO Overseas Operations. “We are delighted that many customers came with their families during the holiday weekend, immersing themselves in the warm and friendly ambience of our stores where they could find something for everybody.”
MINISO’s new store openings mark the retailer’s latest move in its push southwards as it rapidly expands its U.S. operations. “The U.S. market is one of our most significant overseas markets. Our expansion in the south of the country is guided by our goal to bring our fun and affordable products to as many customers as possible, across the United States,” said Tu.
MINISO first entered the U.S. market in 2017 and has since maintained a significant presence along the West Coast. Since 2021, the lifestyle retailer has enhanced its presence along the East Coast and in the southern states. To date, MINISO has opened 74 stores across the country.
