On 1 July, lifestyle retailer MINISO celebrated the grand opening of its flagship store in Westfield London, bringing more affordable and fun products to shoppers in the UK.
The new store is located on the first floor of Westfield London, the largest shopping centre in Europe, right next to the Shepherd’s Bush underground station. Directly operated by MINISO, this 2880 sq. ft retail space features a wide range of design-led lifestyle products, including toys, tech, stationery, accessories, home, food, and beauty. The majority of the products available are priced below £10, attracting customers who enjoy the treasure hunt shopping experience and want good quality and value.
The brand-new design of the shopfront and the interior sets the flagship store apart from the retailer’s other locations in the country. Surrounded by floor-to-ceiling ambient LED lighting, the entrance of the store is modern and clean-lined, fitting right in with the overall aesthetic of the shopping centre. This minimalist design theme is reflected in the store with sleek shelving and organized product display.

MINISO has already opened over 5,000 stores in 100 countries. Earlier this year, the retailer opened its first global flagship store in New York's Broadway. Last month, MINISO celebrated the grand opening of its Malaysian flagship store. In Europe, the brand is also adding new stores to its retail network across Italy, Spain, France and the UK. For instance, MINISO had its first West Midlands store in Solihull in the UK on 1 June. The latest Westfield store and a Brent Cross store scheduled in August are also a testament to MINISO’s fast growth.
