Sander Lucas and Marijke Lucas are both graduates from the Design Academy Eindhoven. Sander is engaged in the design of his own portfolio and exhibition work, and also mentors student designers (working for both the Design Academy Eindhoven and Eindhoven University of Technology).
 
Marijke used to be a senior graphic designer at ELLE Decoration:' Although l enjoyed my job, at the end of 2012 l felt it was time for a change, so l decided to start a new business with my favorite designer and my husband, Sander Lucas.

LifeStudio introduction: In September 2011, the Industrial Design Institute officially launched studio training courses, establishing 7 industrial design directions and workshops, with LifeStudio being one of them.

Hoii design is an integrated design firm based in Shanghai, providing clients with a diverse range of design services, including commercial space design, brand identity system design, installation art, furniture and product design. We take "how to design", "why to design" and "what if" as the design starting points. By conducting research on the market, cultural background, and materials, we combine multiple design methods to create unique design scheme tailored to our customers’ needs.
 
Our core team members are all from Central Saint Martins, a prestigious art and design college in the UK, and have won the German Red Dot Design Award. They have been involved in projects that have been showcased at world-class exhibitions, including London Design Week and the Cologne Furniture Fair, etc.
