MINISO Accelerates Its Global Expansion and Reached Cooperation Agreement with Romania


Brief: MINISO reached strategic cooperation with Romania, accelerating its expansion into the European market, driving the retail industry in Romania and doing credit to the future retail industry.

       On February 5, 2018, MINISO, a Japanese designer brand, held a grand signing ceremony with the representatives of Romania company. On that very day, Mr. Ye Guofu, the global co-founder and CEO of MINISO, Mr. Li Minxin, executive vice president of MINISO’s Investment Development Center, Mr. Wang Xiaofeng, the representative of Romanian partner, project operation director Mr. Weng Xingbin and senior executives of both parties were present at the signing ceremony.

      Mr. Ye addressed the ceremony that he paid high attention to the signing ceremony. Although MINISO set foot on Romania at the first time, the brand has mature experience of overseas operation and excellent management system, therefore Mr. Ye believed that MINISO could obtain great achievement in Romania. He also indicated that he hoped that the Romanian partner will be bold enough to develop in their country, so as to increase the reputation of MINISO in the local market. Therefore, local consumers can easily buy the products of "high quality, creativity and affordability".

      Romania is located in the northeast of Southeastern Balkans and is one of the important countries in Southeastern Europe. With the rapid development of its retail industry, credit card consumption is growing rapidly, while the distribution of local retail stores is unbalanced, with a large gap between urban and rural areas. The establishment of MINISO will change the situation that of huge demand but distributing unevenly, and liberate the young people in Romania, so that the high-quality and low-priced products can be delivered to thousands of households.
