MINISO Paced up in Global Expansion; New Zealand is the Next Destination

 On August 1, 2017, MINISO, a famous Japanese designer brand took another step forward to its global expansion. Mr. Miyake Junya, the global co-founder and chief designer of MINISO, Mr. Ye Guofu, global co-founder and CEO of MINISO together with the executives of MINISO were present at the signing ceremony. The cooperation between MINISO and New Zealand marks MINISO has formally entered New Zealand, and people will be able to see the MINISO stores opened in New Zealand in the upcoming future.

Mr. Li Jie, a member of MINISO’s board of directors addressed the signing ceremony. Firstly, he expressed his gratitude to the New Zealand government and all walks of life for their support and trust to MINISO. Afterwards, he indicated that MINISO will continue to persist in the principle of “relieving the shopping stress of younger generation, and letting more people feel the happiness of shopping” as well as creating more products of “high quality, creative and low price” for consumers. He also mentioned that as the New Zealand market has great potential, MINISO will increase its investment to this market and fully develop in New Zealand in the future. While providing “high quality, creative and low-price” products for New Zealand consumers, MINISO will focus on creating a pleasant shopping environment for local consumers, making it a comfortable store with stress-free shopping experience.

It has opened nearly 2000 stores in more than 30 countries and regions, with 80 - 100 stores opened every month.

 

The cooperation with New Zealand is one of MINISO’s significant acts to expand into the international market. By cooperating with New Zealand, MINISO is able to lay a solid foundation for its development in the international market, meanwhile, it may also promote the growth of the retail industry in New Zealand.
