MINISO Signs Cooperation Agreement with Canada Successfully, Planning to Open First Store in Canada by the End of December
On October 12, 2016, Japanese fast fashion designer brand MINISO took new actions to expand the foreign market. After establishing cooperation partnership with America, MINISO signs strategic cooperation agreement with Canada successfully, developing comprehensively in North America, aiming at seizing the high-end market with Japanese design and products being made in China. Mr. Ye Guofu, global co-founder of MINISO, Mr. Miyake Junya, global co-founder and chief designer of MINISO, Mr. Lin Maojia and Mr. Xu Tao, representatives of Canada were present for the signing ceremony, witnessing this inspiring moment.

Both sides attach great importance to the signing of agreement. At the signing ceremony, Mr. Xu Tao, representative of Canada expressed optimism about MINISO’s development in Canada. He predicted that MINISO will open 100 stores in Canada with annual revenue of more than RMB300 million (nearly USD45 million). MINISO’s global co-founder and chief designer Mr. Miyake Junya indicated that on one hand, the cooperation with Canada is not only a significant move for MINISO to develop in the Northern America market, but also making more consumers experience the high quality but low-price products, thoughtful services and excellent shopping experience, freeing consumers’ pressure of life, and enlarging the brand’s influence; on the other hand, MINISO hopes to promote local development of retail industry by using the brand’s unique business model and design philosophy.
